megapixel varifocal lenses are a new class of lenses specially designed
to provide optimal results when used in cameras with megapixel sensors.
These lenses enable megapixel cameras to realize the high resolutions
that standard lenses cannot deliver, with a resolving power of up to 100
lines per millimeter. These lenses provide excellent image quality at
both the center and at the corner of the image.
