The FT8101A/FR8101A
fiber transmitter and receiver provide the ability to transmit and
receive a single channel of bidirectional data over one optical
fiber. The FT8101A transmitter and the FR8101A receiver are
available in multimode and single-mode versions. When using
single-mode fiber, the FT8101A transmitter and the FR8101A
receiver offer an exceptional optical power budget of 28 dB and
provide a transmission distance of up to 40 km.
